Of New Hire Paperwork Room Searches and New Memes

Well I am close to entering a brand new life as a student of the Walt Disney World College Program. I am really starting to feel nervous and excited about my new venture. A lot of things have been running through my head since I've started on this venture.

Most people often have nerves when leaving home, but I've gotten the nerves down to a minimum and I have slowly come to terms that I am going to be out in my own apartment meeting new people and working at a place I've dreamt of since I was a child.

I have many goals I want to achieve with following my dreams. I also want to make sure I make all of my friends and family proud of me. A lot of them are cheering me on from the sidelines and I feel majorly happy at that prospect.

I am praying that I get the chance to do so many things that other people only get to do one in a life time. I am a little happy I will be working in a restaurant instead of at an out door cart. But I am keeping my fingers crossed and hoping to work in the Magic Kingdom so I can be close to the magic that is Cinderella's castle and get the chance to feel like a princess everyday I enter my workplace.

The new hire paperwork was an ordeal but it is expected since a lot of information is needed to participate. It was really annoying but I finished it all and made sure everything I listed was up to date. I am hoping that I can get through admissions and roommate work smoothly.

Oh! the DCPers (Disney College Programmers) are starting a new meme with the picture of the girl on the main website. It's really funny considering that a lot of people made the meme really funny and I love how much fun it's becoming right now via the Facebook pages.

I am still searching for a roommate since I want someone who doesn't drink, smoke or party. I want someone who is really...well someone who isn't boring but someone who actually would enjoy going to the parks, the mall and karaoke without the use items that only cause trouble for people if they're not too careful.

Well that's all for now. I'll try to update this blog more often now that I am so close to my departure.

Preparation entry 3

I have finally paid for my classes for my time at the Disney College Program, I am excited because they will be brand new and challenging which is something that I enjoy more than anything. I am hoping I get to be creative in every class and work hard to show that I am able to muster up the Disney  spirit and dream.

For many days now I have been eagerly counting down until my departure to the happiest place on Earth.

As a small town girl from Michigan I am nervous and filled with the doubts that I'll be able to handle going off on my own away from my family for five months. I know many times that people who are going to college feel the same way so I guess it's my turn. I just pray that my previous experiences do not repeat themselves due to the fact that the last time I left home I really disliked the place I was in not to mention I caught a cold from the sudden change in weather and the condition of the environment I was in.

I'm looking forward to meeting new people especially the roommates I will be sharing a living space with.  My mom says that at Disney World there might be someone who is exactly like me and that they're waiting for me to arrive. But If that is true I'll be surprised.

Anyway once I set foot on the soil that is Disney World I will be taking my first steps in to a brand new world where I can feel like a princess everyday and experience the joy and wonderment that is the magic of Walt Disney World.

Preparations Day 2

Preparations for my departure for the Disney College Program have been finalized at 11:00AM on 10/17/2012!

I have completed the process and I will be departing on January 14, 2013 to arrive at the school a day early so I can know my way around as well as prepare to move in. I am really excited for this opportunity and I cannot wait to learn everything there is with the magical company.

As of right now I am hoping I get to find out who my roommates are so I can get to know them ahead of time and maybe I will get lucky and meet some super nice people whom I am sure I will get along with along with getting into some crazy adventures with.

Anyway the apartments a.k.a. dorms I am in will be the Vista Way complex which from what I read is the "Party Complex". I doubt that it's true but if it is I might request to be admitted to another complex that is wellness as I am not that big of a party person.

Anyway the next step of the process was pretty easy to do as I only had to selected my dates as well as provide additional information.

I will be back home May 10, 2013. ^^ which means 5 months away from home but I am planning to take a few things to keep me from missing my family too much.

I really hope that this program is the right fit for me and I shall work hard and give it my very best.

Wish me luck everyone and I shall keep you updated with everything as promised. <3 Disney College Program ahoy! I am living the dream!

The Beginning

I am officially a student of the Disney College Program as of October 16, 2012. I am currently waiting for my new steps that will lead upon the magical path of the Disney College Program. I hope that all of my readers will enjoy reading about my experiences during the program and after.

Today's plans include making a list of things I will need to take with me and taking care of business in which will need to be taken care of during the course of my departure in January of 2013.

My experiences with the first moment I laid eyes upon the website for the Disney College Program it was a match made in Heaven. I've always been crazy about everything Disney and I am a huge fan of Tinkerbell and the Disney Princesses.

I've grown up with every Disney movie ranging from the Aristrocats to Tangeled. They've been a staple of my childhood and I've always said if I had the chance I'd go for it and become a part of the Magical World Of Disney.

My main goal for my time in the Disney Program is to grow up a bit more and hopefully live the dream I've been fighting so hard for.

My advice to anyone who is trying for this program is that if you don't get in the first time don't give up and just keep moving forward until you're able to achieve the dream of working for the Happiest Place On Earth.

So with that said, I'll be updating this blog to give everyone a sort of a guide to the program and serve as a teaching and learning tool.

Anyway join me on my journey and please don't hesitate to ask any questions. I shall answer them to help you better!
